Go Blue for Autism Day

Go Blue for Autism Day was held at MDSS on Friday the 19th of April. Students came to school dressed in all shades of blue to show their support for Autism. With many students at differing levels of the spectrum it was important the awareness and message gets out to families and the community. Autism is a neurological disorder that affects an increasing number of children and families in Australia every year. Research and funding are vital to supporting families with children on the Spectrum and therefore the school felt it important to support a worthy cause. Staff also supported the event with the school community raising $125 to the cause.
